gimme summer

This must be the laziest Sunday since Daan and I arrived in Amsterdam. Let me sketch you the situation: Outside: snow, snow and even more snow. Inside: warm, cozy, movies, strolling the internet.
Result: longing for summer. Except for the fact that the weather is so bad, there are other reasons why I'm desperate for summer:

1. The wonderful work of french photographer/wanderer Théo Gosselin. Look at the pictures and you'll soon get why I want summertime.

2. Listening to Lana Del Rey's Born To Die album. The whole album makes me think of summer, love, Hollywood, palmtrees and American highways. Especially the song 'This Is What Makes Us Girls'. This song makes me think of girls with feathers in their hair, dancing on the streets while the sun goes down. I made a little collage to visualize my thoughts.

3. My new favorite song + videoclip 'Hey daydreamer' from Neil Halstead: só beautiful !

4. The new Wildfox collection, inspired by nineties movie Clueless. I love the fact that Wildfox always makes up a story behind the collection. They play with a concept, which is amazing and it makes the clothes part of a 'dream'.

Of course there are a million more reasons why I'm longing for summer, such as the wonderful SS13 collections, planning the summer trips and the fact that I can't wear my new clothes because it's fucking freezing (grrr) . All that in the next post.
